Welcome to Abilities Plus!  Abilities Plus is a not-for-profit organization located in Kewanee, Illinois serving individuals of all ages with disabilities.  The organization was founded in 1959 with a class of seven children, and now serves approximately 250 children and adults from Henry, Stark and western Bureau Counties.

Every day, the Board of Directors and staff of Abilities Plus strive to achieve the agency's mission of "promoting opportunities that result in independence and active decision making for people with disabilities and their families."

Abilities Plus is a 501(c)(3) organization, a member of the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, and is licensed by the Illinois Department of Human Services.  We are also affiliated with the United Way in Kewanee, Colona-Green Rock, and the Quad Cities, as well as the Kewanee and Geneseo Chambers of Commerce and the Geneseo Community Chest.
