Adult Day Programs

  • Developmental Training (DT): This program allows clients to work on basic life skills in a classroom like setting.  Opportunities are given to participate in basic vocational skill training and community integration activities.  In order to be eligible for this program, individuals must be approved for state funding.  Contact Western Illinois Service Coordination (WISC) at (309) 833-1621 for more information.

  • Work Services (WS): This is a work training program for adult clients.  The environment allows individuals to work on job skills to prepare for employment in the community.  This is a non-funded, private pay program.  Contact Abilities Plus at (309) 852-4626 for further information.

  • Job Placement: Individuals in this program receive assistance searching for jobs, completing applications and learning interview skills, as well as receiving job coaching once they obtain employment in the community.  In order to receive services, individuals must be determined eligible and receive funding through the Department of Rehabilitation.  For more information, contact the local DRS office at (309) 786-6468.
